I think I would like to if my mind gave me the chance.

"But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love."

2 Nephi 1:15

---

I really needed that scripture today.

Does somebody know how I can make my brain shut up at night? Having not slept since Sunday afternoon, I'd really love to hear it. I'm not even joking.

I still believe in summer days.

a few simple adventures this week.

Laura and I learned "Winter Song" by my girls Ingrid and Sara B. An overall success, if I do say so myself.

A cheer-up day on Friday, cupcakes from the Cocoa Bean quite necessary.
(Irish Cream for me, Better than Sex, for Laura, Dirty Turtle for Heather, Ultimate Brownie for Hannah)

Now that both parts of HP 7 are out, we had a small get-together to watch both parts back-to-back on our good friends' projector screen.  This party was excellent, and complete with Butterbeer Cupcakes, Pumpkin Pasties, Dumbledore's favorite Lemon Drops, and actual (non-alcoholic, of course) Butterbeer. (Not shown.)

Heading home this Friday bright and early (6:45 a.m.) this Friday for the baptism of all baptisms! Spiritual experiences and excitement sure to come!

Time for another week....my first tests are coming!

lots and lots.

Of things on my mind.

So naturally instead of reading my research articles for Psych 302 tomorrow

I choose to blog.

So....I have

Lots and lots of confusion.

Lots and lots of fear.

Lots and lots of stress.

Lots and lots of sleepless nights.

Lots and lots of things to do.

Lots and Lots of blonde hair and thinking if it should be turned auburn instead.

(**and also lots and lots of love for my beloved roommate, Laura Beth**)

Lots and lots of impatience for my new home starting exactly 3 months from today.

Please just do yourself a favor and mute the terrible music on this video and continue to listen to the playlist.

Lots and lots of emotion regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an immensely increased testimony of missionary work and the power of the Book of Mormon. An profoundly life changing decision was made by an enormously influential person in my life, and I couldn't be more ecstatic.

I believe. So strongly.

And on that note, LOTS AND LOTS of excitement to return to Dallas next month to welcome said person into the next step, the greatest adventure of his life. Yes, if you haven't already put the pieces together, one of my nearest and dearest has chosen to enter the waters of baptism. If I get permission I'll one day post more of the story.

But for now, thank you so much. I've been walking in the clouds because of you for weeks, and I hope this spiritual high never wears off for either of us.

My heart is so full and my testimony so much stronger.

All my love, B.

start.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen....or I guess I should say morning now?

Happy 12:30 a.m!

I just got done watching my beloved TV show, Parenthood, and then (because it's obviously still far too early to go to sleep just yet) proceeded to take crappy webcam photos.

So this is me, barely over a week into 2012 and exactly a week into Winter Semester 2012.

Quick! Scroll down to the bottom and press pause on my playlist so you can listen to this song:  I looooove City and Colour and they kept me plenty company while doing my long hours of homework this afternoon.

I regret x 10098208488343 having to miss this concert on 11.11.11. Oh well.

Anyway, here's the rundown of my first week back in the big beautiful mountains of Utah.

Watching The Girl Who Played With Fire-Swede version. So so good.
So much homework.
So much Arrested Development.
And now True Grit and heading to bed.

So here we are.

Christmas break was great, by the way.  I love and do miss my family.  I felt so at home reuniting with Sydney Brooke and Stephanie Elise.  It was busy though, I worked more than I anticipated, and I found out I'm going to France (but you already knew that). So now I have a big fat check to write to my father. Excellent.  Worth it.

This semester is going to be interesting, and hopefully somewhat less impossibly difficult than Fall (as far as schoolwork goes), but I have next to no motivation to do it.  I know that France is so close, I just think that these next few months should just.......pass on by.  I want to go right now.

Finally, the twins and I have always wanted to start a style blog, so we've got one in the works, in the very early stages.  But the idea is to have a place to show how easy and fun it is to be a college student on a tight budget and still find a way to look put together and stylish.

Keep your eyes out for the upcoming facebook page, but for now help us to get off the ground by going to

and follow us!

Anyway....

A widely-known and one of my absolute favorite quote, and something I hope to live by this year.
A resolution of sorts.

Everything is good today.

All my love, B.
